As a beginner recording artist, it can be difficult finding a great engineer to record and mix and master your songs. What if i told you that you could do all of this yourself. One issue I have encountered with many recording artist is that they do not have access to a studio engineer to help with this process. For many as well, you may not have the finances to pay for studio time.
There are many online music gear sites that allow you to not only pay for recording equipment but also allow you to pay for it in month installments. This is perfect for yourself as a recording artists as it allows you to do so on a budget. I this short blog post, i will give you the site I use in addition to the equipment you will need to begin recording your own music on a budget.
1. Finding the right website
1. zzounds.com is one of my favorite sites to use to purchase music equipment. I have been using them for over 3 years since i started producing music. With zzounds you have the choice of choosing monthly installments into 3 different tiers (3 months, 6 months, 12 months). With zzounds you make the first month payment, and afterwards they send you your new gear within 2 days. After receiving your new gear, your responsibility is to make sure that you continue to make payments on your gear. After all payments are made the gear is official yours. There are no credit checks with zzounds. Some of the gear i have purchased through zzounds are audio interfaces, studio monitors, reflection filters, keyboards, and more!.
